I think the school is making an attempt to handle the behavior problem. I find that the bully program they are attempting to engage maybe helpful. I have a problem with a lack of down time for this school. I understand that students can abuse down time - Shame on the school for assigned seating at lunch - rushing to eat and THEN have to carry the lunch box the rest of the day. Lunch should be a time to have social time, eat in peace and just relax the mind for the afternoon session. From 8:15- 3:15 the entire day is spent focused on school - I think a free time is needed with lunch and maybe (& recess for the 5 & 6 grades) Perhaps they should try that to see how grades & behavior might improve with a built in free time.

I am glad that all of my children are out of Lima North. This current year 2008/2009 will by interesting, due to the lack of involvement by the adminastration. The students will have the control due to the principals that are there do not get involved or demand respect from the children. The school system needs to get this school under control before there is a major incident at Lima North.

I am a student at Lima North Middle School. The teachers to me are mean when they want to be.I think that some of the teachers are sterotype people. At this school you will get in trouble for no reason at all.We really don't have anytime to learn anything because the teachers are to focused on disipline and not on education.Yes the students need disipline but education should comes first.Thats what we came to school for.
