Sounds like the parent that wrote in on the 21st of May needs to stop and look at their own child. I am guessing this isn't the first time she has had to change schools. VCS has a great staff with teachers who love and care for their students. The teachers want nothing more than to see their students succeed. I have two children, who love, their school!

As a parent of three children who have attended this school for 6 years, I have to say that I love it. I have been a public school educator and have seen on a personal level the advantages/disadvantages of public education. I chose this school because I wanted individualized attention for my children with a christian foundation. I have been very pleased... both academically and spiritually. I am an educator and know the California State guidelines for teachers. It is not required by the state for a private school teacher to be credentialed let alone possess a degree. Most of the teachers at VCS either possess a Bachelors Degree or an Associate Degree while continuing their education. They have one credentialed teacher and another with her Masters. I was disappointed to read the negative review posted. I believe that people need to be careful not to let their obvious bias appear fact.

We had to leave it was so bad. It's a bunch of Moms who think their kids don't do anything wrong because they don't see it. If it's pointed out they don't handle it, they go into defend mode, like a Mom, not a teacher. It's basically a clique of long timers who's kids are undisaplined and disrespectful. The kids and parents don't accept anyone or anything new with any kind of Christian love and acceptance. The boys are allowed to tease, taunt, push around and bully others. It's accepted since they all know each other and the Moms do nothing about the bad behavior. They won't even admit it happens! Some good lower grade teachers otherwise your kids will fall far, far, behind. Ask for the teacher's credentials and the schools grades. Even the one with the most education can't teach. All kinds of mind games. Don't waste your time.

I do noy quite understand if the rude comment was directed at our VCS campus. We do not have a 2 story school campus. I truly hope this was not at VCS. I am a parent that has been there 3 years and I absoultley love it. Our children excel in this wonderful atmosphere. We do not tolerate bad behavior and have not once witnessed inappropriate conduct. Anyone looking for a school you would be blessed to have your children there.
