Aynor High is an all around good school. The only complaint is about the guidance counselors. They often seem to discourage students from going to other colleges besides Coastal Carolina (a local university). I know this personally because I am an alumnus of Aynor High School. Aynor is a very tight community so be prepared if you move here from another town and do not have former established roots.

You have one thing right when you say Aynor High School is a safe school, if not the safest school around. The administration is very involved with the students but they also know when to handle business. The entire AHS faculty is very kind to the entire AHS family. Every teacher expects the best from their students and will not settle for anything less. I recently just graduated from AHS and i'm very proud to say that I am a Blue Jacket :)

Aynor High School is the best high school in Horry County by far, and maybe in the state. At most schools, the jocks of the school are the dumb muscular guys or gals, but at Aynor, most athletes are members of the Honor Roll and Beta Club. There is no gangs, and very little violence. Not to mention it won Palmetto's Finest in 2002. Its nice for students to be able to attend a school in which one knows everyone else and each teacher knows you by name, even if they never taught you. How great is that?

Though Aynor may be a very small school, it's cirriculum is well established and the teachers are very understanding. Students here gain a well rounded education.

I love my school. It is a challenging school but all in the same it's fun to attend Aynor high school. The teachers are great and my fellow students feel like we can get on a personal level with all of them. The staff takes our ideas and opinions into consideration. Awards and incintives are provided for achievements. I feel safe at my school. Its a small school were everyone knows everyone and you can't meet a stranger. Everyone is so friendly and I highly recomend this school to anyone who is considering it.
