This school system now has included another school 4 grades 4th-6th. Over-all the education is average n both schools. (My 4th grader says that she still feels like she's doing 3rd grade work) They seem 2 care about their students, but lack any resources. They only offer the bare minimal n extracirricular activities & the area doesn't make up for it.Their bus system is very unprofessional & rude. Amazingly, these schools r actually the best n the area. The Jr. High is scary. All-in-all this area & schools lack the southern hospitality I was looking 4 when I moved here.

About the tests

In 2011-2012 South Carolina used the Palmetto Assessment of State Standards (PASS) to test students in grades 3 through 8 in writing, English/Language Arts, Math, Social Studies and Science. The PASS is a standards-based test, which means it measures how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of South Carolina. The goal is for all students to score at or above the state standard.
