Midway Elementary School

I am not at all pleased with this school. My son came home everyday in tears about his teacher and fellow classmates. She had no control over those students. The class rooms were overcrowded and disorganized. My son received special services that we could never count on and didn't even happens on a daily basis as IEP coordinated. The only saving grace was and interm principal that took over when they got rid of the lady taking up space who called herself principal.If your zoned here, drive your child somewhere else, especially if they have any special needs.

I am very pleased with Midway Elementary. I am very happy with the staff and principal, Gary Bruhjell. Our son's teacher is somewhat of an issue, she is distracted by other things and misses a substantial amount of days. Beyond that, I am very happy with the school

Midway is an outstanding school. Mr. Bruhjell, the principal, is very loving and is a big kid himself. Both parents and students love him. Midway provides many after school programs including Art Club, Karate Club, Running Club, Lego Club, Technology Club, Science Club, Jr. Master Gardener Club, Odyssey of the Mind Club, and Mrs. Frizzles Book Club. We also have a wonderful group of parent volunteers, tutors and mentors. Midway has a very active and supportive PTA. I am a parent of two children at Midway and also a staff member. We have had nothing but a positive experience at Midway and the school is very warm and inviting. We are blessed to be a part of Midway.
