S. Kilbourne Elementary is an A-1 school! The dedicated staff make learning fun for the students. The atmosphere of the school is one of caring and dedication to the students and their educational needs.

My son presently attends S. kilbourne Elementary. The school is a great school.Good environment and the teachers so far have taught my son a lot.The only things I disagree with about this school is how they discipline kids in the first grade(for ex.my son gets sent to ISS for talking out or not sitting down) and they have no after school care. Other than those reasons S. Kilbourne is a great school and is sort of like a family. They also have music, sports, art and other extracurricular activities.

South Kilbourne Elementary is a excellent school. I believe part of the reason they are is because the teachers use positive reinforcement verses negative punishment. For an example, they reward the students for good behavior rather than scaring them into behaving or performing well. They are rewarded monthly for good behavior, good grades, and reading books. Positive reinforcement is always better then having children always thinking they are going to get in trouble for anything they do wrong or not well enough.
