My child and I are very happy with the school. I don't think my son could have gotten a better education anywhere.
The school is perfectly run. There is zero tolerance for unfavorable behavior, which makes learning and teaching much easier. The principal is top notch!
This school is wonderful. The principal, Jean Taylor, is very involved and willing to help out. The students seems to adjust well there because it does go to 5th grade and takes some of the pressure off of students worrying about changing school too soon.
My child went to St. John's in K5 through 2nd grade. The campus is beautiful and welcoming. Unfortunately, I was not pleased with the education that my son was receiving. Many of the teachers are an asset to the school as well as our community; however, there are some of the teachers who appear to have become tired of teaching, which is reflected in their attitude towards the children. I chose to homeschool my children. Now they are able to receive not only the education that every child deserves, they are also learning strong Christian principles. My children are well above their grade levels. My 1st grader is reading on a 4th grade level. My son, was held back in the first grade by his teacher, now he scores in the 99th percentile of his aptitude tests. I will provide the education my children need, even if St. John's could not.
My children, and I really do not like this school.Jean Taylor is could care less about the safty of the students at the school. Youw can tell her any thing you want about your children getting hurt or picked on and she don't care. Some of the teachers there are the same way all the care for is them selves and they don't beleave you,,or your child is the bad one. I wish this school would get better.Theres abunch of bad apples at that school if I had my way my kids wouldn't go to that school. And then again there are some real nice people there, who are understanding, caring and so -on.
I love this school. I went to this school when I was a child and nothing has change thats whats so great its still the same school it always has been. Mrs Tylar is wounderful. she is a sweet women but can be firm when need. Thats what the schools need around here. She takes up time with the parents as well as the student. St.Johns is great all the way round thank you
Both of my children attended St. John's. The principal and her staff were dedicated to making this school a safe, nurturing, and productive place. The nicely kept campus creates a pleasant atmosphere. It includes an auditorium, nature trail, ampitheater, and picnic tables. As a parent of a special needs child, I particulary was impressed with the caring, quality, and dedication of the resource teachers and the willingness of the teachers to help my child have success in the regular classroom. This school truly has some terrific teachers and staff. The active parent group and teachers hold a fall festival for the whole family to enjoy. Select students participate in a Spirit Team that is exceptional. My favorite part was that I felt my children were safe in a place where good, old fashioned values and morality were evident.
