First of all, you stated this school is 5K - 6. that is incorrect! it is 5K- 3rd grade. Teachers are great, but administration is lacking. Also, teacher qualification should be double checked. A teacher should already be certified to teach Spec. Ed. not "getting certification" while teaching. I know the law allows this, but it is a disservice to the kids in the classroom. They are the ones who deserve the VERY best, not minimum requirement.

The dedication of the teachers and staff at this school are amazing. Each member goes above and beyond what is required to help the students.

About the tests

In 2011-2012 South Carolina used the Palmetto Assessment of State Standards (PASS) to test students in grades 3 through 8 in writing, English/Language Arts, Math, Social Studies and Science. The PASS is a standards-based test, which means it measures how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of South Carolina. The goal is for all students to score at or above the state standard.
