My daughters principal is such a great leader, well spoken. Our our office ladys are wonderful and know most kids by name. And the teachers really work together for the schools best interests

My daughter started at DES as 1st grader, coming from a school in CA. I am disappointed with their cafeteria the food is gross! My daughter learned most of what they were teaching in 1st grade in her Kindergarten class. I do not feel like they are able to challenge her enough & I have never seen such undisciplined children.

My 2nd child is now in her last year at DES & I couldn't be more pleased with the school & the teachers. My oldest went through DES and is now in 8th grade taking Honors 9th grade classes. Her honors classes began at DES & I give much credit to the awesome teachers she started school with. The teachers I have come in contact with over the years (which has been many) have always been there whenever needed, for a child or parent, & has done everything possible to fulfil the need or answer the question. The music & art programs are awesome, you couldn't ask for 2 more dedicated teachers. The PTO officers are always looking for ways to fufill the teachers needs & come up with awesome programs/ideas for the students. I wouldn't want either of my children to have gone anywhere else to begin their schooling.

They allowed my child to pass through to 3rd grade with only a second grade reading level. I was never informed that he had a problem from either his teacher or the administration. In my opinion, Dr. Allen is a disgrace to the profession of principal.
