Good school if you are from the area. Otherwise, you are an unwelcome outsider. Their claim to an open-door policy is lip-service. Parental involvement is implicitly discouraged via their thinly-veiled animosity towards them. The small handful of truly kind and welcoming teachers serve as stark contrast to the norm. If you are an outsider, you (and unfortunately your children) will pay for encroaching on their territory.

Westend has some great teachers and staff. I feel that this school is student minded and willing to do whatever it takes to make sure our children get the educations they need and desire.
