Teachers in this school are caring and dedicated. They are led by a principal who truly strives for excellence. I have been impressed by the degree to which parents participate and volunteer in student education. There is a superior teacher student ratio that enables teachers to address the individual needs of students. While the facility lacks some of the physical plant that many schools have, the staff is dedicated to making an environment that stimulates the children and that reflects their interests. The teachers challenge the children to do well and to excel in things like reading and math and writing. My children have grown academically under the leadership of this school.
McKissick is a great school with caring teachers and wonderful students. Them America's Choice plan that they follow allows children to excell in reading, writing, math, science, and social studies. They small teacher to student ratio provides for one on one attention that students need. The children all look so nice and well behaved walking down the hallways in their school uniforms. I especially have been pleased with how informative the teachers are on matters that are important to me as a parent.
