I wish I could give it less than 1 star but it won't let me. This is one of the worst schools I have ever had my kid in or researched. The only good thing is they have a group where kids can meet for lunch for loss of a family member, military kids, etc. The staff are so rude. The teachers do not care about their students. The principal has a don't care attitude and it shows in the way the staff interacts with both the children and the parents. I am usually an easy going super nice person but this school has me angry every time I go up there because of their lack of concern. I went to pick up my child and she was told to go to the wrong place and no one could locate her even though she was next to one of the teachers. They have zero accountability for their actions! This school needs a major overhaul. it is sad they get more funding then most states and are so behind on everything. I think it has everything with the staff that works there! Please find another place for your child for the sake of your and his/her well being. Mrs. Barkley!

My daughter has been here 2 years and we are very pleased. She has loved both of her teachers and is doing beautifully. I am impressed with how much she is learning and all of the different activities the students do.

Theteachers at Blaney Elementary School are excellent, my children attended Richland district two and now my grandchildren attend here and I consider this school comparable to the top schools in that district. If it wasn't I would pay for my grands to attend a private school.

My daughter will be leaving Blaney this coming school year and I really hate that. The Blaney special ed. program has taking my once quite child to a very talkative almost fully potty trained little lady! I love Blaney and all the staff at the school and we are going to miss it dearly. I have not had any problems getting any help or advice the whole two years my daughter attended! I would recommend Blaney to any parent!

This is the best school in Kershaw county located in South Carolina. My daughter has excelled above and beyond. Blaney has Scouts, Strings, Keyboard classes and more. The children work hard and perform at their best. The staff and teachers support the childrens every need. Thanks Blaney for teaching my little girl.

My daughter has attended Blaney for 2 years and I've been very happy with the facilities and the teaching. There are some better than others, but they've all been very good. A parent staying on top of it all is still the most important factor. After school programs are good too...scouts, piano, chorus, etc.

Not all the staff are as compassionate as others, but that should be a priority! My daughter is in kindergarten and she loves it! I thank Mrs Trofatter on her creativity and her compassion for teaching. My daughter is very 'fond' of her and often comes home talking of her daily. This is what our children need...the constant encouragement and love that Mrs Trofatter gives her students! Thank you Mrs Trofatter for a wonderful year.

My son is in Ms. Chavis and Ms. McKay's 4-year-old program and I have been completely satisfied and impressed with their teaching skills and level of dedication to the students.

I have a child in kindergarten and am very active in the school events and activites. The teachers are very professional and have the best interest of the children in mind. Students are loved and encouraged to do their very best. Blaney is a great school!
