Greenbrier is not focused on every child and their education. The principal does not treat every situation the same and chooses to discipline each student differently based on gender, race, etc. This is a school that believes every student should receive a trophy at the end of the year and be rewarded for being the same as each neighboring student. Greenbrier does not teach individuality and real word situations. Multiple complaints about individual teachers are ignored and students suffer.

The new principal has definitely turned this school around. The energy is positive and the curriculum is motivating. I find the majority of the teachers well educated and very effective with the children. I would recommend this school to everyone.

I love the energy the new principal has brought to this school. It is such a positive atmosphere for my daughter. They treat her with respect and love. The school is clean, the staff is friendly. I love the hands on learning projects and especially the community garden the classrooms share.

The teachers are incredible, very inclusive and proactive school. The administration is always trying to improve every aspect of the children's learning experiences and include the parents every step of the way. It's a wonderful learning atmosphere.

I transferred my children into Greenbrier after their other school got overcrowded. I am very pleased with the teachers, administration and environment. The school reminds me of an old fashioned neighborhood school that cares about the children. My daughter and son excelled there both academically and socially. Whether I had to e-mail or call the teacher, pick up early from school or pick up from the nurse's office - all of these instances I was treated very cordially and they did all they could be assist and keep me informed. They have earned my trust!

My daughter attended kindergarten at Greenbrier, and I think it is a great school. The teachers really look out for the children, it has a great PTA this year and has raised enough money for new playground equipment. I was really impressed when I went on a field trip with my daughter, how well organized they were. I never felt that any child was not being taken care of because the teacher was constantly checking and counting heads. Overall I think this is school is great!

I think this school is very unorganized, not informative and the principle doesn't want to take the time to listen and help with the problem. He stands behind the teacher no matter if the teacher is wrong.

I have witnessed firsthand teachers ordering and barking at students. Not an atmosphere of respect. My children's behavior has gone downhill since attending here.

I noticed first hand of how the principal at this school stands behind his teachers - when the situation shows bad decision making by the teacher. My child was humiliated by his teacher. He was also failing most of his classes with this teacher. I pulled him out, placed him in a different school and I watch him thrive. He is making A's and B's simply because his current teacher sees potential in all of her students. I have a terrible opinion of Greenbrier Elementary School and I do not hesitate to voice that opinion.
