this is a terrible failing school in our district. I hate my child is zone for this sorry school. the pace of this school starts from the top of its organization and trickle down to the children education. If you can keep your child out of this school he or she is better off. If i could rate the school as a 0, I would do so.

Brewer isn't a parent-friendly environment. The principal and staff there are only nice to you when you don't have a problem. Bullying has been a big issue at this school for a lot of parents. Children are constantly taunted by their peers. When the parents complain they just say that they'll speak to the children causing the problems, but this just causes more problems for the children being bulied. They say that is is the child's responsibility to tell on the bully. This again causes even more problems.Once the bullied child strikes back,he is suspended because they say as part of the district policy is that no child has the right to touch another child. However, very little is done in the way of protecting these children and worse, it seems many of the teachers are as afraid of the bullies as the kids are. How could a parent support this school.
