This school is awesome! I have never been to a better school than HPMS. I have been to Palmetto Elementry and Belton Elementry, and Honea Path Middle is still better!
The Administration does not communicate effectively with parents when serious situations arise. Recently when my child was beat up at school, no teacher/staff was around to put a stop to it. When my child went to the office to tell the VP, the school did not even bother to call me. Teachers do not apply the demerit code consistently to all students. The school does not even follow their own guidelines (posted on their website) when admitting students to the After-School program.
