JES is a great school. The teachers, leadership and the PTO is so good. Could not ask for a better place to learn.

As a parent of a fifth grade student I am so grateful my child can attend Jefferson Elementary. I have to ask each year for him to be allowed to come here, since this is not the school he should attend. I believe that the teachers here try diligently to see that each child receives the best education possible, and they put the individual's needs at the top of their priority list. The administration, PTO, teachers, and assistants work hard...and work together to provide an exceptional education. Our PTO is wonderful to help provide monetary resources for our classrooms in order to help our children have resources we could not afford on district, state, and federal budgets. We are fortunate to have a PTO committee that cares about the students needs, and that wants our school to be an inviting place.

I am a very proud parent of a second grade student at Jefferson Elementary. I think it is the best school in the district! My child is actually supposed to be going to a different school, but I would only have her at Jefferson. The teachers and the leaders at the school are very friendly. They all seem to really care about the students. My child has learned a lot in the past three years at Jefferson. I would highly recommend our school to anyone new to our community!

Jefferson Elementary is a wonderful and caring enviroment. They instill academic success in all of their students. I am a parent of a Kindergartener that attends Jefferson Elementary. Every experience I have had with Jefferson Elementary has been a postive one. I highly recommend this school to any parent.

I have a grand-child going to this school and I think, that they put too much pressure on the children with their fund raising. I don't see why they have so many. If the fund raising was for a special project for the child class that would be understanding. Who has to do the selling or the buying? Parents, aunts, grandparents and etc and when you have more then one it can run into some monies. Why do they try to sell things that are so high. The christmas paper that they want the children to sale is not worth the money.

I have two children that goes to Jefferson Elementary School and I think that this school is only conserned about there funraising than they are about the student's that go to this school. As aparent I feel that instead of useing the money for painting the hallway, planting trees, they should use it to help the students that are having problems in math, reading, spelling things like that. I would not recomend this school to any one.
