Wonderful School.. Very small town qualities, yet, up to date in all aspects.. The best community, always something going on.. Great teachers and community leaders.

my family & i love buford elementary! my daughter has wonderful teachers every year. buford was very helpful with her speech delays. she took speech therapy for almost 2 years & we were amazed at her progress. shes at the top of her class in everything including reading. buford has shown us love & teamwork like no other can. we also enjoy the parent involvement thats available & expected. i cant wait for my baby to start at buford!

I attended Buford Elementary myself and all four of my children attend there. There could not be a more parent~friendly school....They are always encouraging us as parents to get involved in our childrens education, which I think is excellent!!!! They have all sorts of stuff going on after school hours to keep our children and us involved with them... I think its a great school!!!

Excellent school system. I couldn't ask for a better 'team' for my son. We will be moving in November, and I'm a bit scared that his next school won't be as helpful.

I feel we have a great school.They have a lot of academic programs and sports are great in this town . I also feel like we have a lot of parent involvement.When they have pizza pact night with students and parents you cant hardly get in the parking lot or for any other involvement with the school it is always packed.

Buford Elementary is considered locally to be one of the best schools in the area. There are a number of programs that are exceptional at Buford including the Discovery School Within A School, the Super Reader Program, LEAP Reading Lab, and an annual visitation from a Japanese tutor that offers kids real-world experience in the cultures and customs and language of a significant country outside our own. The parents I have met are typically willing to participate in activities when asked to do so. Like any school, there are teachers you favor and those you do not, but overall, our experience with Buford has been very positive. The school's leadership is open and easy to communicate with. And the school fosters an environment in which students are encouraged both academically and in terms of being good student citizens. Overall, it's a great school.
