Erwin Elementary School

My son has attended erwin since 1st grade. He is now in the 4th grade. He has had straight A's since begining erwin. He received the principal choice award this year, and he is a duke tip participant through duke university. The staff at erwin is great, caring and very helpful. I am a very pleased parent with the work and dedication that Erwin elementary displays.

I will have 4 grands and a neice at Erwin this year and can't think of a better school for them. The staff there is Super and their 1st priority is always, what's best for the child. Proud to say that they are at Erwin. Keep up the Good Work.

My child entered kindergarten this year at Erwin. I cannot imagine having a greater experience at any other school. The administration is on top of things and never too busy to stop and 'chat' with parents or students. The teachers are caring and great leaders in the classrooms. My child developed a medical condition this year, after the school year began. Everyone has been so helpful and concerned about him. I love Erwin!!! I have worked at 2 different elementary schools in the district and I am glad we chose Erwin for my child!

Both of my children attended Erwin and I was always shocked at the caring nature of the staff. They offer many opportunities for students and pull out the strengths. The atmosphere is the most positive that I have seen.

my child transfered here from heath springs . Their they said he was behind. he couldn't even say the alpabet. He showed real progress at erwin and now is doing great and is deveolmental caught up

I have two children at this school and I have had problems with both of my children. My youngest daughter is in K-5 and I have started looking to move in order to get out of this school district. I have never had any problems with my childrens school in the past and I have always been a volunter unitll this year.

This is the best school ever! I am in sixth grade and just left my 7 years @ Erwin (pre-school through 5th grade) I am a National Honor Student, am in the Honor Society,am in the Duke T.I.P program,and did 12th grade work on my M.A.P testing! The teachers go out of there way to learn new and eciting ways to learn! The school is always clean. The teachers never treat the students like 'dumb children' they treat them as young adults entering the world. I hope the school is as good as it is now when I see my cousins go there!
