AR Rucker is the best school in Lancaster SC. Nobody has a better school than us.
A.R. Rucker is a wonderful school with the greatest teachers and administration. Parents always feel welcome and are encouraged to be actively involved in the school. I am sad to say that this is my child's last year as he will be moving on to high school.
My child loves going to Rucker. It's been a great experience. The teachers and administration are wonderful. And, the new principal is a true team-player looking out for the students and teachers!
The new leadership at A.R. Rucker has been a great addition this year. The team work has been tremendous.
I am very pleased to say that AR Rucker, as of 7/1/05, has had a change in administration and it has made a tremendous difference already. The staff seem friendly and happy. The parents, including myself, feel welcome and we are volunteering more. The past administration was not friendly and did not make parents feel welcome at all. It was more of an institution atmosphere. The new administration truly cares about the children and has made all the difference in the world. Academically, there are still changes to be made but, again, the new administration, seeing the problems, is trying hard to tackle the issues and make the necessary changes that will make AR Rucker an outstanding school. The Baccaleaurate program is one example of change for the better. We have just received the prestigous Red Carpet Award. I am sure that we will continue to see changes for the better.
