Yes, the middle and high school are very "closed" about visitors to the school, especially during lunch! It does concern many parents.

I have a tenth grader at WKHS. I have been impressed so far with the staff. Yes, the Athletics Department has had serious issues, but I believe we all will get through this.

if you think wkhs or district 1 likes parents try to go to the middle school or high school and eat lunch with your child. the school district has what they call a closed school policy and they are hiding something from parents and think by banning all parents from the lunch room will keep us from knowing!

I am a student athlete at this school and yes Coach Cagle will be missed but we have now started spring practice and Coach Walters will do a great job too. This school is a great school and can conform to any students need. This athletic program might not be what your looking for but it is getting turned around. White Knoll High School is really a great school. Keith

I have been a parent of children in this school for the last five years. I also have had to deal with many schools in the past and find this school to be so much more organized, in touch with the students needs and very active in their lives both on and off the school grounds. It is great to see the 'family' touch from WKHS. Keep up the great work! As far as the coaching... WKHS is going to lose a great coach. Coach Cagle not only teaches but coaches about life lessons. He is very concerned about the students of WKHS and is very supportive of them. He is a great encourager and is a true down to earth coach. One that will surely be missed. If you want the perfect school. Don't come cause you will only make it imperfect. If you want real join us!

We may not be like all schools in the area but we're a family. In this school, if you need something, your teacher will stay after school, before school, and even during their lunch to make sure that you get a chance to understand everything. The sports programs here are great because our coaches don't just teach us the fundamentals of the various sports, but the teach you life lessons as well that helps us mature into what we may one day become. White Knoll High School may not be the perfect school but it cares about the students that walks its halls...

The school is just not up to par with other schools in the area and around the world. Some of the teacher are great but for the most part they don't seem to care about anything but their paycheck. The principle is extremely hard to get along with. You try to communicate with her and she give you an excuse rather than a definate answer. she dosen't find solutions with you. If you want your child to do well and make it into a good university this is not the school for them.

I think the school worries about the wrong thing. For example this school worries too much on image then how the students are being handed.. Another thing the prinple of this school should worry about what is being taught in the classes then worring what people have to say about he school. Well thank you for your time.

This school is poor because of the lack of student responsibility. Students have to have everything handed to them and the level of higher learning is low. The are not preparing students for college very well.
