This is my daughter's first year at PHES. In the past, our kids have gone to a private school. When we moved, we decided since PHES was rated so high, we would let her go to public school. We have been so happy! It is the best run school we have ever encountered! The faculty and staff truly care about the students. It is a safe environment and they take discipline seriously and bullying it stamped out before it can even get started. The buildings are new and are kept clean. The food in the cafeteria is good. The only thing I would change is not allowing parents to walk their kids to and from the building. It slows down car line. But even that is handled in a way to make sure both children and parents are safe. This is an awesome school!!

My daughter is in her second year at PHES. Nothing but good things to say about the faculty. The administration is outgoing and friendly. I'm always impressed with the Principle and counselors knowledge of most of the kids names. The Spanish Immersion program is excellent. I'm amazed at what my daughter picked up after one year having no Spanish spoken prior.

I love this school. I have 3 children currently attending the 2 older are in the gifted and talented tracts as well as the oldest in advanced math. I credit this in large part to the school and concerned staff. Even with the minor struggles in advanced math it is easy to work with staff to resolve how to continue building confidence in my daughter and work together to build her discipline and commitment to succeed.

My family and I have moved often due to my husbands job. We have lived in many different states and my children have been to many different schools. I am proud to say Pleasant Hill is by far the best! The teachers are GREAT! The principal is GREAT! And my kids are doing great! This school cares about children! Thank you Pleasant Hill :<)
