School highlights:
I have a 12 year old in the 6th grade & a 13 year old in the 7th grade. We moved here from Florida 5 years ago. This school is clean and the principal is amazing and very warm and loving with the children. mr. Polk the band teacher I can't say enough good things about him. Mrs. Moore the guidedance teacher has been so helpful and so good to my children. She has been on top of all of my concerns. I am so grateful and blessed to have chosen this area to live in. my children atend a wonderful school. Thank you to all staff ! Trilla
This is my son's second year at Lexington Middle School and I love this school. I moved from Richland County. I must say that the assistant principal Mr. Shealy kept me informed of my son's behavior. The teachers were on top of things and kept me informed. They always returned my calls and emails. This school was a good choice for my son. He has improved in his academics and personal growth. My son J. Williams is well known at this school and loves all of the faculty and staff. Thanks to Lexington Middle School for being my son's second family and a BIG thanks to all of the teachers for all that you do!!
It is a great school excellent academics and staff
I think this school is amazing. It is always clean, and the students are very nice.
I have been homeschooled all my life and i just now started. It is absolutely wonderful and i never want to be homeschooled again. The school is fantastic and i could not be anymore pleased than i am. I would recomend this school for anyone. Im in 8th grade and it is really neat. I will always love this school, its really great.
Well when I went to this school which its been a few years im actually about to graduate high school but anyways.lexington middle was my safe house. If it were not for the teachers and other staff at that school I would honestly be dead because either my stepmom would have killed me or I would have killed myself. The teachers and staff there did everything possible to get my sister and I out of the situation we were in. Though I'm not graduating from Lexington high if it were not for them I wouldn't be graduating at all. They basically gave me life. I was put in Thornwell home and school for children at the end of my 8th grade year and I am now graduating from Clinton high. And I plan to make something of myself. I couldn't thank them enough. I have been very disappointed in this school this year. I have a student here and I live out of town. It has been more than frustrating trying to get communication from one teacher in particular. I have had to contact the principal and continue to get no contact about my child. I lived in SC for 18 years and my children have attended Lexington the whole time. I do have a child with me and the schools where I am seem to be more advanced than SC. I would rate how I have been treated as unacceptable.
This is an awsome school with wonderful teachers that do a great job in educating students. I woud not want to go to any other school.
Excellent academic structure of advanced classes. 7th grade SAT training classes. Superb Teacher and administrative quality. Facilities and programs are geared towards college prep standards. Violence is a non issue with well trained staff and school resource officers. I wish we had this school system in place where we are relocating. LMS has our highest recommendation. A++
