It's a great community type school. Was smaller but has grown much since my daughter attended. The original building is very historial and has such a 'homey' feel.

Unfortunatley we have moved to another school district for the upcoming school yer. My son adores Little Mountain Elementary. He has loved all three of his teachers during the time he spent there. Mr. Tarver truly is a remarkable principal and person! Thank you to all at Little Mountain Elementary for making the first 3 years of my son's education a fantastic experience!!

Both of my children have gone here for years. My daughter for 4 years and my son the same. I love the staff and the impact that they have had on my children. Mr. Tarver is one of the best principals I have ever seen. The supporting staff, including Mrs. Swindler, has been a wonderful person to have in my children's life as well. Great job Little Mountain! My experience is that some of the teachers do not hold an adequate commitment toward their students, possibly due to inexperience. The time spent focused on issues other than educating their class is excessive. If a child is not 'mainstream' the school struggles with alternative educational techniques which eventually could affect the child's self esteem. The Principal, Mr. Tarver, appears to have a genuine love for his students and frequently spends time interacting with them. Mr. Tarver has a perfect style of 'tough - love' towards the children of Little Mountain which gains the respect of the student population. I have also observed very committed instructors at Little Mountain who are there to make a difference, not because they didn't know what else to major in during College. Finally, PACT emphasis is undermining the educational process!

I love this school! Great family feel to it, I know all the teachers, they know me and my child. I feel my child is getting a great education here.
