An excellent parenting center is located at Manning Early Childhood Center. Parents with children in K-4 through sixth grades are given the opportunity to checkout materials from a lending library. Parents throughout the district are actively involved using materials to help reinforce skills taught in the classroom. Clarendon School District Two is number one. I have been using the parenting center before my child was born. My child is an honor student. Listed below are programs & activities the parenting center offers to all parents. Parenting Workshops A Lending Library Birth to Five Classes Parents As Teachers Basic Academics Adult Literacy Second Step Training Volunteer Program Mentoring Foster Grandparent Volunteers Home Visits Hospital Visits to Mothers & Newborns Community Agencies Parent Newsletters Teen Parenting Classes Raising a Reader Early Steps to School Success I am a proud parent to be living in Clarendon School District Two. Thank you Superintendent Tindal for having an outstanding parenting center.

MECC's academic program includes K-5 learning the alphabet, some basic words, counting and writing #'s 0-100, basic addition, subtraction, learning about music, and animals. The teachers vary in dedication, all are knowledgable about their careers but a majority of them go the extra mile. They care about the students and it matters to them that the students achieve their goals. Administration staff are easy to work with and do a good job of running the school. They work well with teachers and parents.

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

Oops! We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Public and charter school test scores for most states come from the state Department of Education. The most common reasons we might not have this data are either that not enough students took the test or that the school was recently opened, and its scores have not yet been reported.
