This is a rebuttal of the student review immediately preceding mine. My kids started out at private school, and I realized I was paying money for an eduation that didn't quite live up to public school. My kids are getting a great eduation there, judging by their national and state level test scores. We're a poor district, but the teachers here are dedicated.
Although its not the complete absolute worst, i would have to say i'd rather go somewhere else. christian school or PDA or something. mhs does have its perks, but other that extracurricular activities and some of the sweet teachers, i dislike being here.
I have two daughters that graduated from this school, and they are now Juniors enrolled at Francis Marion University and Coker College. Marion High School's faculty inspired my children to set long and short term goals. Thus far they have not deviated from these goals, because of the excellent instructions given them throughout the years at Marion High School. If they had to do it all over again, I still would choose to relocate from Fayetteville, NC just so my children could enjoy the same academic challenge that I encountered while attending MHS. Exellent school! Excellent Principal! Excellent faculty! And I made an excellent choice
