Mayo Elementary School

i moved here from N.j.two years ago and i must say i love this school.everyone is very personable.my daughter had Mrs. Mckinney this past year and she was just awesome but i think pretty much all the teachers there are great!i love that it's a small town school so when i call or go there they know who i am right away.that just proves they know my children.

I attended Mayo Elem. and now both my children attend Mayo. Mr. Browning is the principal there and has been forever! He is the Greatest Educator I have ever known, and the biggest asset that Mayo Elem. has! I wouldn't think of sending my children anywhere else. All of the teachers are friendly, and love to communicate with parents. When I send my children to school each morning I know that they are safe, loved, and learning from the best educators in Spartanburg County! The Guidance Counselor also is great! She really cares about all of the children and will spend what time is necessary to ensure they feel good about themselves and help them build great character!

My kids love Mayo also. My daughter was also in Mrs Hughey's class last year and she was such a good teacher to my daughter too. My youngest was in Mrs Hewitt's class. Mrs Hewitt is such a good sweet and caring teacher. The kids at Mayo are wonderful. You have a few bullies every where but I must say that Mayo has some wonderful kids and teachers.

My daugther goes to Mayo Elementary and she loves it there. She feels safe and confident at this school. The teachers work one on one with the students and they care. She has made so many friends. Ms. Hughey is my daughter's teacher and she has made such an impact on her life. And I thank her for that.
