Great school. Ample parking ...car line better than other schools. Safety first for kids. Lots of space for outside activities. Lots of Grounds to use for Carnival etc... New Principal great...better than old so any issues people had are addressed now. Teachers are respectful to parents. Hardly any problems with children and issues...at all. Kids obedient and want to learn. Clean school..Library great. So big. Again space is unbelievable compared to other schools. State of the Art technology. If moving to Spartan burg this school is for you. would like to say that students do review at School on Fridays but do so with enrichment s benefiting the kids and new ways of thinking. Any issue parents may have are all addressed by new Principal. Advice to new students and parents is to go here!
Great school!!!!! My kids love it! We love it as parents!!! Great teachers and staff!
My son is in the 4K program and is excelling in everything! Most importantly, he is learning manners and proper etiquette. Thanks AMES!
My daughter is in the K-4 program at Anderson Mill and is learing allot.
I would have to say, being a first time school mommy that my kindergartener got the best teacher that we could have hoped for! Not only the teacher but the assistant teacher was equally special. They have been two pivotal people that have made a great lasting impression on my son and me. My four year old wants them as his teachers but we are moving into possibly another district and if that is the case, we won't be able to do this. I wished that I could carry Anderson Mill Elementary where ever we go but I will have to say that his teachers will never be forgotten because they are two of the sweetest teachers any one could ask for! Anderson Mill the school has very high academics just from what we have for homework, they send home progress reports weekly for the Kindergarten child. It has been great.
I was a substitute teacher 3 years ago and thus got to have first hand experience of what goes on in each school, and compare to others. I have to say that Anderson Mill Elementary School was by far the most disciplined, with the most extracurricular (ie. foreign languages, etc.) activity and organization available. They also were very organized about most other things. The teachers always had lesson plans made for me in detail about what should be going on every minute of the day. I was very impressed. I did not see any parent envolvement in the few days that I worked there, but I do not know if that is by part of the school or the parents. I also did not have any dealings with the Principal, so I don't have iny input on that end either. Overall, I'd send my kid to Anderson Mill before any other.
