My 2 children, my husband and all his siblings graduated from this school. Great then, great now. Excellent staff, faculty, and administration. If you want Catholic based education and excellent academic program this school is for you.

The middle school has established a rigorous curriculum that is christian based. I have had 2 children go through the school. Both are doing exceptionally well in high school. I still have one child there and I am happy. Parent involvement is welcomed. The school community is wonderful.

After years (6 total) patiently hoping for changes at COK-SM, we finally withdrew our 3 children. Not only did I discover they were (on average) 1-2 years behind the public school academics, they have found a vastly more christian atmosphere outside this catholic school. We still beat ourselves up over wasting more than 50k over those years they were enrolled in COK-SM. The school is run more by teachers, many of whom are still trapped in the educational methods they used 25 years ago. My children went from dreading another school day, to loving the learning process in the public system. Save your money!!!!

I currently have 1 child in middle school. He has made some great friends and is on the honor roll. I have 2 other children that have graduated from COK-SM - both have done well in Honors courses at the Catholic high school. No school is perfect, but information on courses, grades, homework and conduct is available to any parent that takes the time to go to the web-site and look it up.

We have moved quite a bit and this is the third Catholic school our girls have been enrolled in. I have been extremely unhappy with this school and would not recommend it. The leadership of the church is horrendous and not child-friendly and the principal/vice principal have no authority whatsoever. Our middle school child had problems with being bullied, and nothing was done. As a 13 year Catholic alum, I was appalled at what types of behavior were allowed to continue. We had to pull our oldest out and put her in public school. Needs a major overhaul in leadership and the priest has been their entirely too long and needs to go!!!

As a point of reference, our children are well behaved honor roll students. This school has many problems. It was a very negative experience. We would not recommend the school. July 2004

My children received an excellent education at this fine school. It prepared them well for a rigorous high school curriculum and they are now doing well in university studies

There is a high turnover rate of teachers in middle school. Teachers/students/parents do not know from year to year what they will face upon return to the new school year. Consistency from year to year is important for middle school students. There is also a lot of inconsistency from one year to next in discipline structure which shows a lack of administrative support/leadership.
