Moultrie cares about its students. One of my children went to Moultrie at 6grade and then skipped to 9th grade after a year and half, accepted by Academic Magnet High School. His score on ACT reached 96% when he was in 7th grade. I visited several schools before choosing Moultrie. it was the only school whose principal answered all my emails. It turned out to be a right choice. The school is flexible and accomodating. It allows my child to take Algebra I in the 6th grade and finished the course in a few months after passing the end of course exam offered by the school district. He went on to take online course such as Geometry and Algebra II and was allowed for independent study. His school counselor was very kind and helpful. Every time I went there, I saw the principal in the hall watching for students. If she didn't care that much, she would not have been there. But I talked to the principal only once. That was after she made her recommendation for my son to skip the 8th grade. She said, "I think the decision was in the best interest of the student". If your child has potential to learn by himself, this is a good school.

This school has stepped up in it's academic rigor and now has a start-of-the-art 2009 facility! There are parents transferring their children as fast as they can from local private schools. It has been a wonderfully interactive faculty and administration to work with for what is now going on my 6th year with a child there!

Creative teachers. Emphasis on acceptance and success for children with learning differences. Zero-tolerance for bullying. Curriculum is not focused on 'testing' but on making learning fun and every student meeting his/her academic potential.
