Keowee Elementary School

Keowee is an amazing school! The staff at Keowee is so respectful of the students, and it shows! The students at Keowee are some of the most respectful and well behaved around! Above all else the thing that I love the most about Keowee is that the teachers CARE about our kids as if they were their own! When the teachers care as much as these do the kids know it and WANT to learn! As a parent you want to know that when you leave your child they will be taken care of like they would if they were with you- At Keowee they are! I went to Keowee as a child and am VERY happy that my daughter is there now! She is so well adjusted and thinks the world of everyone there (as do I)! I am very proud to be a Keowee mom!

I have had 3 children attend Keowee two of which are still in attendance. Keowee is the type of school that allows children to develop at their own rate. Students that need help are given extra support and encouragement from guidance and the teachers. My oldest child attended Keowee and was in the gifted classes where he excelled. He truly counted his days at Keowee as the best days of his life. The support staff at Keowee is without a doubt the best there is! Mrs. Duvall, the media specialist is one the those unique educators that brightens my children's school day. The front office staff is extremely efficient and you can always count on them to get the job done. The lunchroom staff know my children by name. I guess what sums up Keowee elementary is that they treat my children like they are a part of their family!
