I have two children enrolled at Five Oaks - one in the Toddler Program and one in the Primary Program. The program allows that each student is assigned a contact teacher and that teacher works with them to show them how to complete their work, allows them to succeed in that work, and then offers lessons on the relativity of the work to life and what it really means. Five Oaks does an incredible job of ensuring that our children understand the purpose behind everything they are doing and are assisting my husband and I in raising well-rounded, independent children who are light years ahead of their peers both socially and educationally.

My child is in his 5th year of school at Five Oaks Academy. This school excels in every aspect. I could not be happier for my child and my family for being a part of this school.

I have had the best experience at FOA. The teachers are so loving, compassionate and caring. The administration is friendly, organized and supportive. The parents are involved and excited to send their children here. The children are the best part. They are engaged, are learning about time management, how to be compassionate, they are working in an organic garden, raising chickens, doing outdoor science experiments and they want to come to school. This is the best school in the South East. Go observe at FOA and see what a fabulous community it really is for your self!

What a gem! Nowdays it is so rare to find a school that cheerishes beauty of childhood and helps holistic development of children. Five Oaks is that place! Everyway you look you see happy and engaged kids who love learning and teachers who love what they do.

I am a student at the middle school at five oaks. This school provides all of the independence a student needs to learn everything from science and history to math and English, I love five oaks and I am going to miss it when I go to high school.

This school has the best education available to children in the area BAR NONE. Our child (in 1st grade) has made remarkable progress in reading, writing, Spanish, math, geography and science. Five Oaks also has great programs in art and art history, music and mucic history, and P.E. I would not hesitate to recommend the school to any parents looking for an education that is a step UP from what public schools, and other area private schools, offer. That being said, the administration of the school does leave something to be desired. Parents need to stay on top of what is going on at the school because the front office(and sometimes the teachers too) doesn't always communicate upcoming activities and events well. Hopefully, as the school matures and grows, the administration will grow and mature also. It's still the best school around with loving, devoted teachers that will make you and your child feel part of a very special family!!

Nice and beautiful environment but unorganized and weak school leadership along with constant shortcomings in every aspect. Not what you should expect from a pricy private school.

I love Five Oaks because our children are given so much individual attention....freedom to make decisions on their own and to think outside the box :-) Montesorri classrooms are so different than the rigid school system I was in growing up, it's like a breath of fresh air!
