School highlights:
I recently completed and internship at this school and I saw good things going on! It is a small family type enviornment where the students stay at the same school for many years. This structure is working in other areas of the country and it is proving itself a success in this school too! High fives to the teachers and Administrators and thier Kagan approach!
The school is run down and the kids are out of control. Its easy to see why the teacher turnover is high. Something drastically needs to change.
The teacher turnover is a lot higher than most schools and the number of students to a class ratio is higher than most elementary schools.
The teacher quality is very good. The school has a real family feeling.
