I had 3 children go through this school and it was a bad experience for all three. There were several outstanding teachers for whom I am very grateful, but mostly it was a giant step back academically from their potential and their prior achievements. I believe this to be the case regardless of ethnicity or income bracket. The impact the Junior High experience has rolls over into High School, and students from Whitlock were at a tremendous disadvantage, and most never recovered from this academically or socially. My information is not current, the youngest graduated HS in 1998, but judging from the statistics on your website, nothing much has changed.
