Houston Elementary School

Great principal,teachers, curricula and students. Forward thinking, challenging.

I have been involved with Houston Elementary School for the past few months and am quite impressed with the faculty and teachers. All of the teachers and administrators are caring, passionate people. Not to mention the after and before school programs they have lined up for next year. Keep up the good work, Houston!

I'll never forget how, six years ago, I expected Houston to be some 'third world' type school, because no one would say anything when I told them that's where my child would attend. Surprise! Great teachers, firm discipline, positive atmosphere, small classes and a rainbow of real-world diversity! My child has learned more than she realizes. (And how 'bout those educational trips to NYC, D.C., Philly...!!!)

I love Houston! I think it is the best kept secret in our district. The teachers are caring and friendly and the staff is excellent. The school is always clean and attractive and I feel welcome every time I enter the front door. I am glad that my child has been at Houston since 4 year old kindergarten. He is now in 6th grade and I am sad that he has to leave.

I have really enjoyed Houston and it's teachers. My daughter started to go there in the 4k enrichment class. She is now in the 2nd grade and every teacher there has been real aware of her needs. She has excelled since she has been there, and I have to give 75% of the credit to her teachers. They make sure that she is constinantly being challenged. I really do appreciate Houston Elementary and it's staff.
