I am a parent and my daughter had Mrs Crosby for second grade and she was a fantastic teacher. We enjoyed having her.

I am a certified teacher who is not working in the school system at this time. Both of my children have gone to Sangaree Elementary. My youngest is still there. I love this school! Both of my children have had excellent teachers this year. The staff is friendly and I see as much parental involvement as you do at most schools. I am very pleased with the education my children are receiving.

My son has been attending this school for two years, and we have been very pleased with the teachers and staff. Unfortunatley parent involvement is very low and there appears to be a lack of parenting all together. I am shocked at some of the things I have witnessed with the children at this school. My son had to stop riding the bus because he was hit three times in one week and nothing was ever done about it. I volunteered for a while when he was in kindergarten and the childrens behavior was horrible and parents didn't seem to care. If you send your kids to this school be prepared for them to learn great things from the teachers and bad things from the students.

We moved to the area when my oldest daughter started K5. We love the school, the teachers and all the staff. My oldest is now getting ready for 6th grade and last year when we decided to move and buy a home we stayed in the area just for the schools. My middle child is now going to 2nd grade in the fall and my baby will be in K5 and I am so glad they will all get to go through the schools as well. Parent involvement could be a little more but some moms have to work. I can say that I have met some of the best kids out of this school. I am a GS troop leader and everyone of my girls goto or have gone through the school. Good place for my kids and many others I know

The main door is supposed to be locked by 8:30am and I have yet to find it locked. Considering the area that lies very close to the school this is not a good idea. The environment is not at all what I would expect from a K-2 school. The student population is varied which is a good and bad thing. The ratio is low and there are some very nice teachers. This school is just not what I would have expected! If we had to do it all over again we would have not bought the house we did to avoid our children being subjected to some of the things they have already been witness to. Low parent involvement from most students which is evident in every aspect.

I have one son and two daughters attending Sangaree Elementary and they have been doing great. One of my daughters has shown remarkable improvement in learning since she transferred from Oakland Elementarty. The teachers and staff are very supportive of their efforts.

My youngest daughters were in Sangaree Elementary 07-08 school year. I like this school. The office staff were very friendly and helpful. My 1st grader had a wonderful teacher (Mrs Parrish) and my daughter in 4k came home every day telling me about the new things she learned her teacher and assistant teacher were great and both girls were happy to go to school every day. Every school has its issues but I really do like this school.

Sangaree was a terrible experience for us. Apparently, they think kindergarden is more about playtime than any learning. We pulled our daughter out and switched to private, and couldn't be happier now. She's a worm of information, and none of which, she learned at Sangaree.
