School highlights:
Best school in Sumter!! Initially, I sent my children to the public schools in Sumter. I was very disappointed and refused to send my children back. I did some research with the other primary schools in Sumter. Basically, with St. Annes you will get a better education for less than what the other schools ask you to pay for. They don't put up with children nonsence that goes on in other schools. The education is top notch, 2-3 years ahead of the other schools. The school put emphasis on being future good citizens of the community and the children will have community service projects. The classroom size is small enough that each child will recieve individual attention. The principle knows each child by name. The faculty really care about each child. Your children will thrive at St Annes.
Two years ago, my family and I were looking at private schools for our child due to an upcoming move to the Sumter area with my husbands job. We decided at the last minute to drop by and check out St. Anne. After our tour given to us by the principal of the school and first grade classroom, we left feeling that St. Anne was the place for us to send our child. As a member of the Methodist Church, I will not lie that I was concerned of any confusion my daughter might have with a Catholic education, but I have been nothing but pleased with her whole education and feel we made the best decision. Now we have a 3rd grader and a child in K-5, and are still very pleased with the education they are receiving. St. Anne is the best kept secret among private schools in Sumter!
I can not be happier about sending my child to the number one school in Sumter,SC. I am pleased with the faculty and how they provide a nuturing, learning environment. I will tell you that she, by far, is receiving a top notch education. She is well-above average and that is due to a rigorus academic program St. Anne's has to offer. The school is atleast 2-3 years ahead, academically, of the public school system. I looked into the other two main private schools in Sumter, and they do not stand a chance againt St. Anne's.
I can t say enough about St. Anne s school. The principal knows every child at the school and I mean knows every child, not just by name. The teachers are loving and nurturing, but strict and demanding at the same time. I am confident each day when I send my son to school that he will be safe, loved, and challenged to be his very best. St. Anne s is a growing and dynamic place with ever increasing opportunities for its students. Parents with ideas for expanding the extracurricular opportunities for students find a receptive ear in the principal who is always looking for ways to make a good thing better! St. Anne s has been a blessing for our family!
This is a great school! The classes are challenging, the teachers really care about the students and the parents are very involved with the school. It's not just a school it's a wonder warm family. We were so happy we found this school when we moved here! Our children just love it!
Our family was blessed to have God guide us to St. Anne's this year. We are a family steeped in Catholic tradition, both my husband and myself had gone to catholic schools. My daughter now has the guidance and attention that she deserves. They provide a challenging curriculum. The staff is excellent. They really care about the children. It shows through all their extra efforts!
Both my husband and I grew up going to catholic schools and it is important to us that our children have the same up bringing. The instruction is challanging and the teachers are nurturing. They instill confidence and good christian values in every student. Even though the school is small and funding is limited, the principal and teachers do everything they can to give the students a well rounded education. There is a diverse group of staff and students which makes for a fun family environment. I recommend this school to anyone moving to sumter. You will not be disappointed in anyway. We love St. Anne's and are very happy with our choice.
This is our third year at St. Anne Catholic School. Our son is now in the second grade and our daughter just started in the K4 program. We are truly amazed by how much she has come out of her shell in just the first month of school and how much she has learned. Both of our children are well-cared for, loved, well educated and happy at St. Anne. We are really impressed by the talented and experienced teachers, the involved parents, and the children that exhibit Christ's love every day at the school.
My two daughters have started their first year at St. Anne School. It was a major decision to change schools, but I feel confident that we made the right choice. I have already noticed a difference in their behavior. I have quickly seen the positive effects of excellent teachers, strong leadership and challenging academic programs as well as Christian values on my girls. I can tell my girls are very happy at St. Anne School as well.
St Anne's has been a blessing to our family. We are a Military family that has the challenge of relocating every few years. We interviewed with several public and private schools in Sumter, and knew that St Anne's is where we are ment to be. We are a strong Baptist family, and St Anne's mission and vision really has enhanced our kids christian beliefs. The students and staff at St Anne foster a loving, creative and challenging environment and we are very pleased to be apart of the St Anne Family.
