I just want to understand; why the teacher(s) feel it's okay to say discouraging comments to the students, and then expect them to come into class and excel; would you? My daughter and a student in class came home and told us that the teacher made sarcastic and discouraging remarks about their assignments in front of the whole class and my daughter was told to come up front and "present her internet project"; her feelings were hurt, if she did something wrong then you could have spoken with her after class about doing a better job next time; encourage her to put more effort in it, or whatever the reasons were for embarassing her in front of the class...so NO... TEACHER QUALITY GETS 0 RATINGS, bc not to put all teachers in the same boat, but that really sets a bad example on how the school "encourages, and builds up the students.
