There are not enough black teachers representing the 51% black population of students in the elementary school.

They removed the one principle in years that improved the teaching quality because she required teachers to be qualified and hold to a top standard. Sorry to see her go and now things are falling back into the poor quality it once was. Tsk! TSK1

Busbee Elementary is a great school with administration and teachers who go above and beyond what is required of them.

This school is not good for any child. Wheather they have special needs or not. The new principal and asst principal just don't care about the students. As long as they keep getting their paychecks. They don't notify the parents when they should about emergencies or anything really important to the parents. When it involves them to where they can get into trouble. I liked the old principal Mr. King Laurance. Now that man cared about every student no matter what the kids backgrounds where. They need to get rid of this loser and put someone who really cares about these students in there

This school was not a good fit for my son. His special education needs were not met and the new principal was not concerned with the special education population.
