Great cookout everyone! Thank you Chris Johnson, 2013 graduate, for being our master chef! Thanks to Amber, Hannah and Imani for the awesome brownies and deserts. And as always, thank you Mrs. McRae for all your help! Great to see new and old faces!!! Looking forward to a great school year! See you at the next cookout, Monday, September 24th!

Paste link in web browser for DSS / CPS report of violations of this school as of a few months ago still an open case. THIS IS A PUBLIC RECORD WEBSITE you can also check other schools on this site. I drove by the school this morning it is in a very bad area the fence is broken down in the back where the kids play, the playarea is overgrown with weeds, and the playground toys look very unsafe as if they were put up in the 1950s. Really this is allowed to pass inspection as a school?

I do have to agree that this was a far overpriced alternative school. Oh yes they were very helpful in doing everything possible to get my child enrolled and payment options were quick to be disscused.I have to say that communication with school to home was poor at best every event was last minute always needing yet more money. The school dispite how much we paid never seemed to have enough money to keep the heat on in the winter my child was always sick and complained of being cold at school and was not allowed to wear a coat in class becouse of the dress code Dr. Krell would make them take it off. I myself did stop in unannounced a few times to find it was very cold the classrooms have no windows are very dark and depressing and half the lights are burned out.

This school was a joke!!! Never again my child deserves better! All the money we paid for old books and they couldn't even keep them,,,but I guess its a good living for Ms Krell.

I think that this is, by far, an over priced alternative school! My daughter had trouble with public school and came to CCA for one semester. She would find out on a Tuesday about a field trip on Wednesday that she would need money for. We already paid the school $4000 for one semester and also had to pay additional money for standardized testing. Come on, what a rip off. She learned more in her first semester of public school than she did all year at this school. Save your money and let your kids stay home and watch Maury Povich, they'll learn more. The only homework my child ever had was a term paper and she finished her semester with a 99% average in all subjects. At least my money bought good grades I guess.

I'm now in my third year in college and graduated from Colonial Christian Academy as Valedictorian in 2005. I loved the school and the teachers that ran it. Dr. Krell, the principal, was very supportive of everything and everyone. She gave me a total different look on life when I was at my weakest point. I couldn't imagine going to a better school.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
