everything is great except for the fact that this school gives detentions to 5K students for tardiness, I have checked the other schools and this is the only one that does this. In a child this young, they ido not understand what they did wrong. It is the parents resposibility not the child. In one Q & A site, one of the parents said that their school held a parent workshop on Saturday for this problem when it occurs.

In one word Great! The teachers go above and beyond to insure student success. The arts and music programs teach, preparing students to continue with their talents as they progress through the years. Parental involvement is not only welcomed it is encouraged. Parents are always welcome and their input is welcome too. They even provide a parent idea box in the lobby. They are always striving for improvement in every way. I give this school the highest recommendation possible.

If you are looking for the very best education for your child, look no further, Palmetto Elementary will fulfill your desire. The principal, teachers, and even the office and cafeteria staff put the children first. Teachers are totally committed to making your child top priority. The principal will go to any means necessary to work out any problem which you will not face, but in the event an issue arises, he does not fail to use every means necessary to resolve the issue with the rights of the parents first and foremost in the resolution. We have never experienced a problem, but another parent with a minor problem spoke with this principal, and he put the best interest of the parents and more importantly the child first and the issue was resolved without incident. Leadership and excellent quality education is afforded to every child. Parents are welcomed at any time.
