As a former BHBS student now preparing for a professional career in law, I am very thankful for my time at Blessed Hope. Although the school adminstrators have implemented policies based in Biblical practice, these policies, if followed, ultimately create an environment of exceptional learning and Christian love. I would highly recommend this school to any parent seeking to give their children a good and Godly education at an affordable rate particularly at the elementary level. Concering the junior high to high school grades, BHBS excels many of the public schools in the York County region especially in the subjects of English, Speech, and Government/Economics. However, I would encourage all parents who have children in the BHBS high school program to guide your children in a college path and be active in exposing them to the realities of the outside world. Overall, BHBS is a fine institution!

I am a former student and a current parent. I attended blessed hope from k-5 through 12th grade. My daughter will be entering 6th grade (she also has been there since k-5) and my son will be starting 2nd grade. My son, who has been at another christian school where i taught, is very eager to begin 2nd grade at blessed hope with his sister). As i look back, many great and wonder Christian teachers and staff have been placed at blessed hope. Many of whom leave lasting impressions on our lives (Debbiecruz & Kim Grant, to name a couple). Many thanks goes to the former pastor, Wayne Smith, for his vision and determination to see it happen. I only hope that Blessed Hope will continue to strive for excellence, and make our children stronger spiritually and academically! Thanks for a great Christian school! Know that what you do...makes a difference!

Blessed Hope is by far the best school in York. The staff there is great and care about all the students. I would not have changed anything about my time at Blessed Hope. One of the best teachers I have ever seen worked there. She passed away about three years ago. Her name was Debbie Cruz and she was such an inspiration to me. I really miss her and I am sure others do as well. I would full encourage you to put your child in this school.

I am a graduate of Blessed Hope, and I am two months from graduating from college. I reflect upon my years at Blessed Hope with a sense that I was blessed to attend such a great school. I enjoyed every minute of it! As I left Blessed Hope, I was prepared for every aspect of life: spiritual, mental, and physical. The spiritual guidance that I received there was a great foundation for the rest of my life. The mental and academic preparation I received allowed me to receive several scholarships, test out of a few classes, and become a honors student in college. Through sports, I was able to prepare myself physically for a lifetime of fitness and wellness. I could not have asked for a better place to be in school. I would consider such a place for my own kids in the future.

I am the parent of three boys that attend Blessed Hope Baptist School. I have a 9 year old son who is in the forth grade, and twin boys that are in the 4-K program. I have been so very pleased with the education that all three are getting. Not only are they getting a great education, but they are reinforcing the Christian values that my husband and I try to teach our boys. The twins started last year in Mrs. Doresy's class. I can not say enough about her She have been a true blessing to our family. The twins are in Mrs. Deitz class this year, and once again God has blessed us with another great teacher. Our 9 year old has a wonderful teacher too. Thank all of you at Blessed Hope for all you do!!

I am a former student of Blessed Hope Baptist School. I attended this school from kindergarten until ninth grade. I am now a senior at York Comprehensive High School. I believe that Blessed Hope is a great place to send young children as the faculty here teach children to be strong in their faith. However, after elementary school and into high school I think it definitely a good idea to look into public school. As a former Blessed Hope student I feel that students who attend public school throughout their high school years are not as sheltered from the 'real world' as are the students who attend Blessed Hope. They are better prepared to enter into the world of college and career.

My daughter has attended this school for 4 years. I could not ask for a better school for my precious child. Her academics are only part of the reason. It is a school where character is not 'the word of the week,' it is a school where character, respect and faith are threads that run throughout the school.

The choral class is wonderful. The teacher is very Christian and shares her views as much as possible on life. The sports there are extremely awesome! The teachers at BHBS are great. They try to stay in touch with their students as much as possible. Blessed Hope is a great school, if you are a strict Baptist Christian. They do not move their beliefs for the slightest person. They teach you all different kinds of things. I would only reccommend this school to the age of about 12...after that I believe public education is great for expanding the mind and options in a child's life.

My daughteris in Blessed Hope's K3 program. I have been extremely pleased with the teachers, the program, and just the school as a whole since she has started. Everyone treats us like we are part of their family, with genuine concern and love for my daughter. I plan on keeping her there until she graduates, and would gladly recommend Blessed Hope to any parent looking for a close-knit, family oriented, christian atmosphere for their child to grow up in.
