This school is a very innovative school in the state South Dakota. Each Student receives there own laptop. Computers are used in almost every class. With the every changing world of technology this gives students a leg up when it comes to college and the rest of there lives. As of the 2007-08 school year Deuel High School has been operating on a four day school week that only a handful of schools use in the state. Students spend almost the same amount of time in the classroom, but it has still been a welcome change by both the staff and the students.
