Great size of school with great kids and teachers. Our numbers have decreased in recent years, but seem to be leveling out.

Lead-Deadwood High School is a great school for any student to attend. The kids and staff are very friendly. The students feel more known compared to a large high school where the teachers dont know every kids name.

Our school is small, 238 students. GREAT science teachers; rigorous, kind, smart. Student-teacher ratio is small. Our town is hopefully soon to be the home of the NSF National Underground Science and Engineering Lab. Our girls golf team has won state for the last 3 years, and boys golf won last year. Our new football coach hails from the Univeristy of North Dakota coahing staff. All of our kids have school issued laptops. Awesome opporunityies.
