This is a great school 2 of my children have attended here 1 in special ed , 1 in regular ed. The principal now is terrific ,the teachers are great ! The entire staff is great ! My son (who is now in middle school ) is autistic , his teachers and EAs were the best ! One thing that impresses me about this school is that the staff and students seem to treat the special needs kids as people. My daughter who attends here has had many opportunities band , musicals , etc. The teachers are truly interested in seeing their students succeed .

I am a parent and an educator. This school has highly qualified teachers and administrators that know every student by name. The school is built on the prinicpals set by beloved teacher Mr. H: 'Be A Friend,' and 'Make Somebody's Day Better.' The family atmosphere is one of pride and respect, and they are building students into future 21st century leaders. This is a GREAT school!

I have had the opportunity to work with a variety of teachers in the Special Education department at this school including the principal Nancy Duncan and have had nothing but bad experiences and repeated let-downs. Staff falls short of behavioral and educational standards in the way the provide services to their students who receive special education. Look to open enroll at one

Great school system. They do a marvelous job of making sure the kids are challenged. They help those that need it. Parents are really involved. This is a great system. We have been to 2 other school systems in the midwest since leaving Sioux Falls. None compare. Wish we were still there. You can be sure your kids will get a solid education here!
