I am a social worker and have two students who attend the Wall School. I am very impressed with the teachers and the school. I am somewhat concerned that the school allows youth who have a F on their report card to participate in school events. Overall the school is wonderful and cares for their students.
The Kindergarden is actually just another year of pre-school in my opinion, there are very little reading skills tought. Nice teacher but poor education standards. First grade is a waste of time for reading skills. No phonics is taught only whole language, there is no combination of both. Some children having great difficulty with reading in second grade because of poor skills taught.
