There are some teacher's who are amazing, and do everything they can to help every student. Then, there are other teacher's who have their favorites; the rich kids, the sport 'superstars', and the relatives. On another note, the school lunches are terrible, though that is not entirely the fault of the school itself. I really wish that more funds would go toward the academics, and academic teams, and not all toward the sports. A decent charter bus would be sufficient. Or a field trip here or there.
As much as I liked going to WHS, I would have to agree with the person who said either you had to be a trouble maker or an 'allstar' you didn't get attention. I was very vocal in HS and got a lot of attention, but looking back there were students who the teachers struggled remembering their name.
Don't listen to the bull that the other person said. it's average and below average students who get all the help they need. most gifted students get help aswell.
I grew up in this school and now are sending my kids to this school. You have to be a really smart student or a trouble maker to get any attention or help. If you are an average student that needs help, you don't get it.
