Do you take someone to your IEP meetings, or do you go alone?

I always go alone, but I am finding that my son seems to be falling more and more behind, and there are no other avenues for help, that are affordable, like Sylvan.

Parents if you are not well versed in the IEP process and the law, please take someone with you who is. That way you are insured your student is receiving all of the services he/she is entitled. Also, it lessens the intimidation factor for you.

I have gone alone but i think its way better to go with someone who understands and can get all the benefits for your child

I never go alone. Well, I did once and that was a huge mistake!
