Good Schools for High Functioning Autistic Child in VA/Fairfax County or Prince William County, Grade 1

Can any one guide as to which public schools offer inclusive in class support in Fairfax & Prince William County in Virginia. Do these counties segregate or are inclusive in nature. We are just moving here from Canada where the school system is very supportive. Since we are in the process of moving, I will move to the city/county that offers better support. ANY advise would be appreciated.

Good morning,
I saw your post and it looks like you may have already moved to the area by now. By far, I would say that between fairfax and prince william county that fairfax county has the best schools for your child. Also remember that if you have a child that has been diagnosed with a learning disability and has an IEP you have a choice of where your child attend school because you are not restricted to the school district that you live in. Please as your child's school to go into greater details about this. Hope this information helped you in time.82169
