Of course! Kids need junky food sometimes and plus of I don't have anything I can count on the school!

Why would ANYONE want that? SO many children participate in federally subsidized breakfast AND lunch programs; they have few or NO other options to get a meal. Too many show up on Monday having had no food over the weekend, who would even ask this?

Absolutely not! The school lunches cater to what children want, not their dietary needs. I much prefer sending fresh fruit and vegetables along with some fun foods.

I think kids shouldn't have homework because they go to school and learn new things then have to go home to do homework from all these different classes which I stay up till 1 in the morning doing homework

Of course not. It shouldn't even be a discussion. Schools are way overstepping their boundaries requiring this.

No. As a parent, that is my decision.
Have you ever gone to your kids' school and seen how many kids throw away most of the lunch?

In response to the Chicago district requirements? No. Families should be able to choose the food that kids will eat AND that the family believes fits into a well-rounded diet. Do we ever get to parent anymore?
