Not with the stuff they are serving now. I want my kid to eat healthy but I dont want to pay for a salad that she is just going to pick thru and toss in the trash. Or soy burgers and tofu. since they are cutting the amount of food y not the price 2

No way! Parents know their children's needs much better than any lunch program can. It's each parent's right to determine and select the nutritious foods they need. Make school lunches excellent and that may be chosen more often.

Absolutely NOT. It is bad enough that parents are being slowly but systematically excluded from their children's education. Leave the meal planning in the family domain for goodness sake.

No of course not! I have 4 children I pack there lunches to save money, I don't qualify for reduced or free lunch and at 2.50 each thats way too expensive! Besides those lunches are pretty unhealthy, pizza, microwave burritos, corndogs!

No, not every child will eat just anything put in front of them. If you want them to eat you have to be smart about it. Not a schools decision!

no school lunches should be free because 12 years of school are free so the lunches should be free

No, school lunches have little to no nutritional benefit and are for the most part empty calories from starches. My home lunches are a much healthier alternative.
